It’s been a long day and I being a bit of a procrastinator, decided I’d rather watch a movie with my husband and be brainless, than blog how I intended earlier. So this post is going to be much shorter. Perhaps, I’ll get back and ‘edit’ it later…
At the end of February I bought some magazines, including one called Bella Grace Magazine. Inside was a feature of an Instagrammer that I thought would be interesting to look up, based on the images printed. She happened to be from the same area I live in and a Russian as well. So, I started following her.
She posted a ‘model call’ for something called pursuit Seattle. I figured I have nothing to lose if I respond and email my photo. I mean, if I get images out of it, why not?
It was a very spontaneous little adventure, since it was just the next day that we drove up to Steven’s Pass, with a group of ladies who were all meeting up for this gathering.

It was fun to see someone in a magazine and then get to meet them in real life soon after. It was also nice that these ladies (about 6 or so) are part of a community of creatives, mostly photographers, who are also believers. For me, it was fun to listen in to the conversations about photography, which I understood quite enough because of all my own conversations with my husband, who’s taught me so much about the technical aspects in photography.
I’m looking forward to the weekend. Mostly because we’re all together as a family…but also because breakfast is already halfway done! All it needs is to be baked in the oven in the morning. I love a pre-prepared meal! Quick and efficient.
