Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.
There are things that are meant just for my heart. No need to explain, no need to share…
We are ever so more than just words we speak, words on paper, more than just a photo we post… in everything that happens, there is more to us than what is seen or heard. The emotional side, the physical, the mental, and the spiritual side all tie onto each other. We could compare at one moment two instances of two people: one in a break up and one receiving grave news about their health. You could say one is worse than the other, but for each individual it is that moment they are in, and for that instance in their life one is as painful as the other! And with each instance or circumstance, they experience all that encompasses a human on all levels. The same diagnosis for two different people will be drastically different because of that. We respond differently based on where we are emotionally and spiritually…
Two people going through a very similar circumstance will have an all together different personal experience. What they learn from it (or not), how they’ve been changed by it, and where they will stand at the end of it all…
It is rare to find a “soul friend” as I would call them… one who doesn’t need you to explain, someone who understands with just a look…
And those personal things from God meant just for me sometimes feel that even if shared, would become almost less of what they are…
There is only one person I have shared a few things God had pointed out to me this year, and that was with my husband. I am so thankful for the man that stands by my side in all that happens in life.

A gift from God born on January 7, 2018. (Which also happens to be the Russian Christmas, so a gift he was.)
A very comforting verse from the Bible:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
This last year, and more so the last nine months, has been a time of God showing me that He is the one who sends comfort and peace. And He is the One who knows all and needs no need for explanation. He can feel, He can hear, He can empathize, He can relate like no man on earth. That is where Hope lies in, where comfort comes from… our Father and Friend above.
